This story earns my rave. Following in the steps of Gabaldon, this time travelstory intertwines a young woman's former career life with her subsequent immersion within a family saga occurring in Wyoming circa 1877. The focus and credibility of the characters are excellent with a very smooth balance between the two time periods. The twist at the end where the reader discovers the unexpected truth of who murdered Sheridan's parents and his scurrilous involvement in her transported life adds to the suspense and leaves the reader rooting for a happy ending for Alexander, Sheridan, and Angel Rose. The "25th Hour" is well written, properly sequenced, and cleanly edited for the reader's uninterrupted enjoyment. I am pleased to recommend this book.

I truly enjoyed this book. Not only was the love story timeless, but the unfolding of a new little family was so sweet to read. Angel Rose is adorable! Alexander Reed is complex -- hunky and the best of dads! Loved it!
The 25th Hour flawlessly blends suspense and romance to create a unique reading experience. Never once did the author let my attention slip. An excellent read.
Wow, the story grabs you from the beginning and keeps going. I absolutely loved the way the heroine tumbles through time and finds herself in the past. The characters are heartwarming and unique and the story offers something for everyone. Can't wait to see what Miss Garland will come up with next.
I don't think there are sufficient words to describe how much I enjoyed this book. I was immediately drawn in at the beginning and literally could not put it down. Absolutely the best time travel romance I have ever read. The characters are well written, and I could easily relate to them. I loved the way everything tied together in the end. If you only buy one book this year, it has to be this one!
This is a GREAT romance about love withstanding the test of time. The time travel aspect is fascinating. I love the way Sheridan Wells erases herself through time and finds herself in unfamiliar territory. The 1877 backdrop opens the door to a historical era through the eyes of a modern day woman. Insert Hero, Alexander Reed and his precocious 5 year old daughter, Angel Rose. Falling in love with them was easy and the twists and turns make it a definite page turner!
This is a complex story with wonderful setting and a satisfying ending. I can't wait for more from Jaye Garland.
This book doesn't follow some of the usual time travel conventions. It doesn't have the ongoing crisis through the story, only the evolving love story. This might make the story seem boring, but it's so well written that I enjoyed the unfolding story all the way through. I did find the hero's ready acceptance of the heroine's futuristic dress and attitudes a bit too easily taken, and I wished for more hints of evil from the villain. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet story.
From the moment you meet Sheridan Wells you are drawn to her. You follow her as she somehow erases herself into the past. I couldn't get enough of the characters and the difficulties she faces. I love that storyline of having to go back in time to uncover truths.
Jaye Garland cleverly wrote about traveling back to 1877 beautifully. Just like Sheridan, from the minute you enter 1877, you fall for five year old Angel Rose and her father, Alexander. The 25th Hour is quite the page turner and you will not want to put it down.
